The Author

Sarah Sawyer is the writer, artist, and webmaster for the comic. She began the comic in 2005 in order to practice using her newly acquired Wacom Tablet.

Born October 3rd, 1987, she is currently 22. She graduated in May 2009 from Humboldt State University with a degree in Studio Art (emphasis in Graphic Design and Printmaking) and a minor in English Literature. She currently works full time for Verizon Wireless.

In mid-November, she started dating Ben (a regular on the forums before and after as Field). The two later began a webcomic project together, written by Ben and drawn by Sarah, Beyond Rapture
