TGP Animated!

TGP Animated! was a project I attempted to do alone back in 2006. It never got very far, but some of the remaining animations are kind of interesting and those that have been around the comic since then have expressed interest in seeing them again.

This is not a project I intend to pick up again. It's too time consuming for one person.

Opening Roughs
-Trailer: This was a quick and rough trailer I did to announce the project. Notice the AWFUL choice of music, weird animation, and bad timing. However, the thing with Morrigan came out well enough to make me happy even now. It's pretty much how I imagine her spawning anywhere.

-Sketch Theme Opening (LOOPS): I meant for each episode to have the same opening, and this was a rough idea for that. Song is "Devil's Dance Floor" by Flogging Molly. Very rough, but had the general idea of what I wanted to do.

-Theme Opening 2 (LOOPS): Beginning to flesh out the opening theme a bit more. Still very rough and changed around a lot.

Animation Tests
-Corrigan Falling: Quick sketch animation of Corrigan running and falling. Generally obvious how poor my animation skills were.

-Walk Cycle: Inked walk cycle. Needed more frames.

-Run Cycle 1: Rough, off balance, size changing, run cycle with a jump. Had never done a run cycle before this one.

-Run Cycle 2: Inked more balanced and sorted run cycle. Still needed a lot of work but the basics were there.

-Run Cycle 3: Inked and coloured run cycle of Tal. Much smoother and had a better grasp of it by this point.

-Morrigan (Poor Unfortunate Souls): An animated storyboard for a silly little animation I wanted to eventually do. Morrigan talking with some poor she-wolf who doesn't know what she's getting into. Song is, of course, Poor Unfortunate Souls from the Little Mermaid.

Voice Tests
These voice tests were intended to get an idea of what the voice looked like with the character, so are very rough and poorly animated. THEY ALL LOOP.

-Letty: Amy, voice testing Letty. American.

-Tal: Gaz, voice testing Tal. English.

-Corrigan: Lachlan, voice testing Corrigan. American.

-Djin: Toby, voice testing Djin. English attempting Irish.

-Zi: Toby again, this time doing Zi. English.
